This week has gone really well…

Calculus and Physics are pretty fun, but starting to get really difficult.  We pretty much constantly ask Colin for help in Calc, and even though he is insanely busy with all of his other subjects, he always finds time to help us out.  We just took our Physics test yesterday, so I guess we’ll see how we managed on that when we get them back Monday.

English is…well…interesting.  We just got chastised for the abysmal job we did on our research.  It was pretty funny when she beat Carl on the head with a stapler.  However, I did do a fantastic job on my last persuasive essay for the state.  Woot woot for sixes!  Anyway, although it gets rough at times, I find the class incredibly beneficial, and Ms. Hofstetter’s sense of humor is hilarious; you can’t help but enjoy it.  Plus, it’s impossible to be bored when you’re surrounded by Kathryn, Colin, and Jen the whole time.

Speaking of Kathryn, that brings us to Economics.  Oh, wow.  So, this class is incredibly easy, but due to the multitudinous inside jokes our table shares, I have the best time in the world.  Coming up with interesting journals is the greatest.  We recently wrote a poem “Shakespeare style” to the theme of Chad’s glove (which I had temporarily stolen).  Pretty sure I laughed so hard I was crying.

Band moved to first lunch!  Yes!  I don’t have to eat alone!  lol.

We finally got a good start on the band yearbook pages, and everyone really seems to love them.  I really appreciate Chad, who has come in every day during prime time to give him input into the pages, and they have turned out really wonderful due to many (lol—if not all) of his ideas.

Sixth period is better.  We have more of an alternation of classes now; sometimes we have a full house, and other days nothing at all.  It’s nice to have a break every once in a while to have time to work on homework or just talk to Mrs. Garrott and Mrs. Lindsay.  I’m glad things have died down a bit in there so its not as stressful every day.

Last night was amazing.  We went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert, and I had the best time ever.  It was the first concert of any sort I had been to before.  There were lights, lasers, fire, and all sorts of things I had never dreamed I would see.  The music was incredible; although I had heard much of it from CDs before, it was nothing like hearing it live.  The guitarists were amazing, and I love the pianists, too.  They played some of my favorite songs from the CD I have, so I recognized a lot of the music.  lol—they even played Leila, which our band plays at the football games.  Pretty sure I almost had a heart attack and killed Chad too when they began to play “A Last Illusion.”  Ahh…the whole thing was incredible.

Well, work today has been exciting.  Bob Jones is sick, so he can’t work OP, so I get the fantastic duty of calling all of the agents to see who doesn’t already have something scheduled so they can work his shift.  lol—but it’s really alright.  Me calling them enables me to remember them all better, which I really need to work on.  lol—it’s a good thing I like to talk on the phone.

So, that’s it.  I’m sure you all fell informed and enlightened by my lengthy dissertation on life…lol.  I hope you guys have a great one this week.

Have fun,

leh

Hey,

I’m having some health problems, and I'm kind of worried.  The doctor’s appointment is on Wednesday.

Talked to Chad and Miss Wilson today, and that helped…but I'm still nervous.

Talk to you guys soon,

leh

Trailblaze Day...

Ok, so today was amaaaazing…

It was Trailblaze, so we really didn’t have to do much in classes.  I listened to my iPod during fourth and watched rock band set up during third.  I didn’t actually walk…lol…for the first time ever, but it was still so much fun.  Chad and I met up with Colin and Jen and we listened to the band while they ate pizza.

After that, everyone kind of scattered off, and I talked with Miss Wilson for awhile.  I stopped by the band room again, and got enlisted to help get ice for the game tonight.  Then Chad and Jen left, and I went back to Wilson’s room.  I really like talking to her….just talking.

After that, I went to Chad’s to work on piano…amongst other things.  He let me watch the last part of House (which was SO good), and then showed me some…uh…rather disturbing cartoons…lol.  I loooooved playing the piano.  I felt like an idiot, though…because he is amazingly talented…and I'm…not.  Though, it felt great to be able to do that again.  I really miss it.

So…thirteen hour babysitting job this Saturday…that’s big news, I guess.

AND I TOTALLY BOUGHT THE TRUCK!!!  I'm excited about that.

AND—Chad asked me to go to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert this November…I'm REALLY excited about that.

Classes are good this year.  We are finally getting into some of the really interesting material that matters.  I'm glad.

I'm not going to the game tonight (sob).  It’s the first one that I have missed this season…

BUT—I am totally going back to Chad’s Monday for another lesson.  And then we are going to go to Mr. Mack’s class on mathematical infinity.  I am really looking forward to that.

Well…I guess that’s all for now.  I really don’t feel like saying much this time.

Have fun…

hey guys, i know its been awhile, but i am using mostly pleonast now.  but, i thought i would send in a quick update to those who read this.

i am working at coldwell banker (snow and wall) now.  i still have the procon job and i still do tons of babysitting.  this summer has been busy!  i leave in two days to go to hilton head with alli and her grandparents.  that's going to be a blast!

band camp is next week, and since i'm doing the yearbook pages for them, i am going.  also, teacher inservice is that week, so mrs. wilson will be there too.  i went by her room today during my lunch hour to talk for awhile.  even though it wasnt for very long, it was nice to hear what was up with her.

colin, jen, eric, chad, and i went to see superman on saturday.  it was really good, but i think it had several inconsistancies.  still--fantastic movie and great music.  later that night we (the old RO crew) went to alli's gym for her birthday.  chris, haven, allison, and i SO beat the other team at kickball 21-1!!!  it was the greatest thing EVER!  slightly under that--"utilizing" alli's birthday present (pride and prejudice) after everyone else went home.

i cant wait to go back to school!  there are so many classes i am excited about and i'm really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.  im glad beth and chad have kept in touch as much as they have this summer; it was really hard last year not seeing anyone from school for months.  physics, calc, and english should be fun, and maybe i can get away with never going to spanish class again!  (lol--jk)--(or am i?!)

i just noticed that these paragraphs are growing progressively longer...lol.

well, i better get back to work.  there's a brief update on what happening;  you can also go to www.pleonast.com/MintiFudge? ; that gets updated a little more often.  and, as usual, email gets checked on a daily basis (more often if im at work).  see you guys later!
